Up Stream Girl is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy statement explains how we gather information and how we protect your privacy.
Your Consent:
By using our website (Site), you consent to the collection and use of certain information by Up Stream Girl. If you do not agree with our privacy policy, please refrain from using our Site.
The Information That Up Stream Girl Collects:
Ordering Online. When you place an order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, credit card security code and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order, to contact you if any questions arise, and to notify you of your order status. We maintain a record of your purchases, product interests, and the information you provide.
Please refer to the section on Removing or Updating Your Information below if you wish to exercise your right to remove your name and information from our database. Please note that we will continue to contact you by e-mail to confirm your order or if any questions about your order arise.
Up Stream Girl does not sell or rent customer lists. Up Stream Girl may partner with third parties to provide certain services such as website hosting, fulfilling orders, processing payments, monitoring site activity, updating site content, organizing information, conducting surveys, analyzing trends and administering e-mails, drawings, or contests. W e do not authorize our partners to make any use of your information other than what is required to provide the above types of services.
We may assimilate the information you provide with other information, such as demographic statistics associated with your zip code, past purchase history or other similar sources. This information may be used to make our future marketing efforts more efficient. We collect financial information (such as your credit card number), but we retain this information for only seven days in order to complete the processing of your order.
Of course, Up Stream Girl may disclose personal information if legally required to do so, e.g., in response to a law enforcement request. We may also disclose personal information if necessary to protect the rights, interests or property of Up Stream Girl, or if necessary to protect the personal safety or interests of the users of our Site or the public.
Promotions, Online Surveys & Announcements. If you decide to participate in an online survey, subscribe to an e-mail list, enter a contest or use one of our other promotional features, we may ask for your name, address, e-mail address and other pertinent information to administer the contest, tabulate survey results or add you to subscriber lists. Privacy Policy for Children:
Up Stream Girl requests that parents or guardians monitor their child’s activities while on-line. No information should be posted by a child without parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We do not use games, prizes or other activities to entice children to give more information than is needed for participation in an activity.
Users of credit cards on our Site must be at least 18 years old, must possess a valid credit card and must be authorized to use the credit card.
How Up Stream Girl Protects Your Information:

Besides your credit card number, we also require that you enter your credit card’s 3 or 4-digit security code, also known as CVV. Since the security code is listed on the card itself, use of this security code helps ensure that you are in possession of your credit card and helps prevent credit card fraud.

Credit Card Guarantee. Up Stream Girl wants to make shopping online a convenient and safe experience. Here's our Credit Card Guarantee:
Our computer system safeguards all payment information that you transmit to us while using our site. This includes your user name, password and credit card number, expiration date, and credit card security code. We convert your personal information into code that can be securely transmitted over the internet. It is our policy never to send credit card information by e-mail. If someone fraudulently uses your credit card information as a result of your online purchase from Up Stream Girl, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its rules and procedures. If you do so, and if your credit card provider nevertheless holds you liable for unauthorized charges, we'll reimburse you for the liability up to $50, the limit of your liability under federal law. Of course you always have the option of placing your order by phone or fax if you prefer.
Removing or Updating Your Information. If you have provided Up Stream Girl with your contact information, but wish to have your name removed from Up Stream Girl’s database or promotional mailing list, please send an e-mail to customerservice@upstreamgirl.com or use the contact information provided below. Upon receipt of your communication, we will remove your name and related information from our database.
We would like to keep registered account users’ personal information accurate and up-to-date. If you would like to modify or update your personal information, e-mail address, mailing address, billing or preferred shipping information, please log into your account using your user name and password, and update your information. Please allow up to four weeks for the updated information to be processed and incorporated into our systems.
